cUSTOM BLANKET DESIGNS

STANDARD & FULL CUSTOM TEXTILES

One of my favorite learned skills in the role was designing for inline and custom. I learned about the weaving process and distinct difference between jacquard and dobby looms, the abilities and limitations of jacquard looming, the difference between working with wool and cotton, and much more. This process is very fun from the beginning, and very fulfilling come the final product. I completed dozens of designs start to finish, but below are a handful of my favorite or projects that forced the most growth for me personally.

CO-LABELS

A more affordable way for wholesale customers to customize their order was to use a co-label on our inline items. It was common for these customers to send files that were not vectorized, which caused me to become very familiar with vectorizing logos and making them compatible with a two-color design.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Despite never claiming to be a "professional" when it came to photography, with a small team and budget came the need for someone willing to learn and produce. I grew substantially in my abilities--mostly through trial and failure--and ultimately have sustained our social feeds, print and digital advertisements, and website content with my photography.

DECK & PRESENTATION CREATION

As one of the most powerful tools for building a brands personality and interacting with current and potential customers, I was very meticulous when it came to the role of social media. It was equally important to me to curate imagery that flowed appropriately with strong, engaging copy that was thoughtful and relevant to the imagery and whatever was happening within the company at the time.
